These tools are the pressing plates used to disassemble or reassemble a barrel, and a barrel push-back tool that is designed to work on milled or fully-assembled receivers. Headspacing a AK barrel is a snap when using this special and simple tool.

Case Statements
Many machine tool manufacturers are no longer in business, and this creates a serious problem when spare and/or repair parts must be obtained.
Practically no one uses paper drawing files any more, as electronic drawings have been the norm for many years. Not every firm wants to invest in the software and manpower to convert paper drawings to the electronic format.
Not all machine shops are qualified for certain types of manufacturing, especially the production of precision gears and sensitive rotating parts.
Not every firm has a staff engineer who has the time and resources to develop the ideas from concept to working drawings. |

Machining Services
I have re-entered the business of precision machining and repair as a complement to my design services. Unlike my successful venture many years ago I am nowadays focused solely on limited specialty work and will not offer heavy machining operations. I have worked with many in-State and out-of-State shops and can certainly make recommendations pertaining to the machining services needed.
Ing. Robert Forbus is a toolmaker and a mechanical engineer with more than thirty (30) years of experience with the design, repair, rebuilding, and retrofit of printing presses, finishing equipment, web-handling equipment, and other machine tools.
